Stuart Mohr

Stuart Mohr received dual degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Stuart designed both dermatologic and ophthalmic laser systems for nearly 10 years including laser devices for hair removal, vascular and pigmented lesions, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. Currently, he is the technical marketing manager at Cutera, working with the engineering and clinical research teams to develop new aesthetic devices.

Please join us for a practical overview of the science behind the equipment used in aesthetic procedures. Stuart Mohr, educated in bio-medical engineering and physics, spent 8 years building lasers and now markets them. He will take participants through basic laser physics and explain why fluence, spot size, pulse duration, peak power, energy sources and depth matter. You will have a better appreciation for what you can and cannot do with your systems and why. Curriculum will be geared for those wanting a refresher or those who are new to using lasers and light-based equipment.
